Nar hires Jonathan Waclawski as his general counselor
Although new in this role, Waclawski is no stranger to the trade group. He Previously worked for Nar From 2017 to 2022, who serves as a political lawyer and later as a vice -president of political advocacy, where he led the strategy for the federal, national and local political programs of Nar.
In addition to his work at Nar, Waclawski also in 2016 as a general counsel for the former Gov. Scott Walker’s Presidential Campaign Republican National Committee and the Republican Party of Wisconsin.
“We are pleased to announce that Jon Waclawski has been appointed as general counselor and senior vice president, legally for the National Association of Realtors,” wrote a spokesperson for Nar in an e -mail. “This promotion reflects Jon’s exceptional leadership and deep legal expertise, and it shows Nar’s constant dedication to strengthen our organization and show value to our members.”
Waclawski is returning to a trade association that is currently navigating due to the changes in the business practice imposed by the Regulation Agreement of the Court of Legal Committee. It is also confronted with various antitrust procedures of brokers, together with accusations of sexual harassment and discrimination.
