‘SNL 50’ Special adds Dave Chappelle, Tom Hanks, Kim Kardashian

NBC has added a long list of A-Listers to the upcoming celebration of the 50th anniversary of “Saturday Night Live”.
Among the guests who can be seen on “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” are Adam Driver, Ayo Edebiri, Bad Bunny, Dave Chappelle, John Mulaney, Kim Kardashian, Martin Short, Miley Cyrus, Paul McCartney, Paul Simon, Pedro Pascal, Peyton Manning, Quinta Brunson, Robert de Niro, Sabrina Carpenter, Scarlett Johansson, Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Woody Harrelson. More guests will be announced in the coming days.
The anniversary special is the highlight of a few months of special programming during season 50 of “SNL”. NBC ‘A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving’ and ‘A Saturday Night Live Christmas’ broadcasted in the fall, two -hour specials that emphasized some of the most famous holiday sketches in the show. A four -part documentary about the history of the show entitled “SNL50: Beyond Saturday Night” debuted on January 16 on Peacock. Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson directed another documentary called “Ladies & Gentlemen … 50 years SNL Music”, which focused on prominent musical guests and sketches of the years and was broadcast on January 27.
“SNL50: The Homecoming Concert” takes place on February 14 in Radio City Music Hall with a live stream on Peacock. Jimmy Fallon organizes the concert, with artists such as Arcade Fire, Backstreet Boys, Bad Bunny, Bonnie Raitt, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Chris Martin, David Byrne, Devo, Eddie Vedder, Jelly Roll, Lady Gaga, Lady Gaga,, Mumford & Sons, Post Malone, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Robyn, The B-52S, The Roots and More.
“SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE” was made by Lorne Michaels, who produces executive via Broadway video.
